Дачное место имело свои достоинства и недостатки, но, несмотря на недостатки, дачи здесь были дорогие. Рита сняла домик для себя и для матери, которой необходим был покой и свежий воздух.
Домик стоял на краю ржаного поля, а неподалеку был лес – настоящий, почти дремучий. Там росли грибы, жили ежи, белки и, может быть, даже какой-нибудь крупный зверь.
Это было достоинство.
Но за лесом лег Шереметьевский аэродром, и над домом все время космическим гулом ревели самолеты. Они летали очень низко, и Рите казалось все время, что самолет либо снесет крышу, либо стены не выдержат вибрации и рухнут внутрь.
Это был недостаток.
Возле станции, метрах в двухстах от железной дороги, вытянулся пруд. Это было удобно, потому что любой дачник, не имеющий летнего отпуска, мог выкупаться по дороге на работу либо в конце рабочего дня, сойдя с переполненной душной электрички.
