こんにちは～！マルハバ！サウジの日本語の先生、佳子です＾＾
みなさんー！お元気ですかー？先日は、近くに住む日本人の方のおうちに遊びに行ってきました。彼女の存在は知っていたものの、お互い忙しくて、なかなか会えずにいました。先週お茶会にお誘いいただき、ついにお会いすることができました。なんと彼女のおうちまでは車で５分以内。こんなに近くに日本人が住んでいたなんてびっくりです！今度子供たちを学校に送った後、近くの公園にみんなでお散歩に行くことになりました。楽しみです！

それでは本題に入りましょう。今日も引っ越しの話の続きで、家具探しについてお話ししたいと思います。家具探し、大変でした。息子の部屋のローテーブル以外はすべて購入する必要がありました。まずはソファ、ベッド、クローゼットなどの大型家具から探しました。基本的には夫に任せたのですが、日本行きをキャンセルした後は時間ができたため、夫はいろいろ素材などにこだわりました。小さな家具屋さんから有名な家具屋さんまでほぼ全部の家具屋さんを回っていました。夫は何度も同じ店に行って商品を確認していました。ソファ、ベッド、マットレスなどを決めるのにそれぞれ１－２週間かかりました。私たちの州にはイケアがありますが、以前日本に住んでいた時夫とイケアのクローゼットを組み立てて苦労した経験があったのと価格がそこまで安くなかったので最初のほうはイケアを見ませんでした。でもいろいろ調べて迷った結果、イケアの家具がやっぱりいいとなり、テレビスタンドやダイニングテーブル、ドレッサー、おもちゃ用の棚、ゲームデスク、仕事用デスクなどの中型家具はほぼイケアで購入しました。最初の注文でテレビスタンドとおもちゃ棚を購入したのですが、組み立てをお願いするのを忘れて自分たちで組み立てることに。予想外に時間がかかりました。二回目の注文では結構組み立てが難しい家具を購入したのでイケアにお願いしました。あっという間に完成してすごい楽ちんでした。商品の１０％を支払う必要がありましたが、頼んでよかった。

８月中旬に新しいアパートに引っ越して、ほとんどの家具が９月前半にそろったのですが、まだ未購入の家具がありました。それはテレビルーム兼ゲストルーム用のコーヒーテーブルとサイドテーブル。テレビルームには３人用のソファひとつ、一人用のソファ一つ、オットマン一つがあります。オットマンがあるので、大きなコーヒーテーブルは置きたくありませんでした。すでにイケアでガラス製のどこでも動かせるようなテーブルをふたつ購入していました。この部屋で３人で食べたり、ゲストが来た時にスナックや飲み物をおけるテーブルがもう少し必要でした。トップが木製だとコースターの使用が必要だったり、傷がつかないようになどいろいろ気を付けないといけないです。ガラス製だと子供が割らないか心配でした。１か月ほど迷いに迷い、いろいろ商品も確認し、結局オンラインでガラス製の大きめのサイドテーブルをふたつ購入しました。スペースのほうが大事ということでコーヒーテーブルは購入しないことに決めました。現状これで結構なんとかなっていて快適です。

それでは今日のフレーズです。今日のフレーズは「楽ちん」です。楽ちんとは「楽であること」「楽で気持ちがよいこと」です。もとは幼児語ですが、大人でも普通に使います。例えばファッションの雑誌などで「楽ちん美脚ジーンズTOP５」「夏の楽ちんおしゃれコーデ」などよく「楽ちん」が使われますね。
