كَانْ يَامَكَانْ فْقَدِيمْ الزَّمَانْ، .
فْبْلاَدْ بْعِيدَة، خِيرْهَا اكْثَرْ مِنْ شَرّْهَا وْنْهَارْهَا أَطْوَلْ مِنْ لِيلْهَا، كَانْ قْبَلْ مَا يْصِيحْ الصَّبِيْ بِالْجُوعْ يْعَمَرْ فْمُّو، وْالفْقِيهْ قْبَلْ مَا يْنُوضْ مِنْ الْعْرَاضَة يْعَمَّرْ قْبُّو وْكُمُّو، كَانْ الْخِيرْ وْالْخْمِيرْ فِأَرْضْ السَُّلْطَانْ بَاهِي الطَّلْعَة.
وْمُولاَيْ السُّلْطَانْ، كَانْتْ عَنْدُو بِنْتْ وَحْدَانِيَّة، جْمِيلَة كَانْ إِسْمْهَا
لَلاَّ شَامَة، أَمْرْهَا مُطَاعْ وكْلَمْتْهَا مَسْمُوعَة، حِيثْ لَلاَّ شَامَة كَانْتْ مْدَلْلَة

، وَلَكِنْ كَانْتْ طَيِّبَة، إِيدِهَا تَعْطِي وْلْسَانْهَا مَا تَسْمَعْ مِنْهَا غِيرْ الْكَلْمَة الطَيِّبَة وْالْقُولْ الْحَسَنْ.
كَبْرَتْ لَلاَّ شَامَة أُو وُصْلاَتْ لِسِنْ الزّْوَاجْ، وْقَالْ مُولاَيْ السُّلْطَانْ بَاهِي الطَّلْعَة فْطُولْ الْبْلاَدْ وْعَرْضْهَا   بأن  يْكُونْ عْرِيسْ بَنْتُو غِيرْ شِي فَارِسْ مِنْ الْفُرْسَانْ أَوْ وْزِيرْ مِنْ الْعِيَانْ. وْكَانْ الإِعْلاَنْ كَافِي بَاشْ يْتْصَافُّو الْعْبَادْ قُدَّامْ الْقْصَرْ باللِّيلْ وْالنّْهَارْ، وْطَبْعاً كَانْ فِيهُمْ الكَاذِبْ وْالطَّمَّاعْ وْالأحْمَقْ وْالْخْدَّاعْ.
