3 Tips to Improve Your Confidence Speaking Business English. + A personal story being a manager in London.

1. Avoid giving solutions

People are not interested ( until they ask ) what you think about XXX...Sometime they just want to share and they want to be heard, give them this opportunity to shine!

2. Using coaching strategies to lead your team. Too many managers try to keep their teams in the state of fear - causing demotivation and resistance ( I've share a bit of my story in the podcast)

3.  Agree and add

People want to know that they are listened to, therefore, agree with them and add in further information if relevant.

Try it on for size (an idiom, stands for: To try, use, or consider something in order to make a decision or form an opinion about it. Likened to putting on a garment to see if it fits.) so try these tips for yourself and see how you'll like it.

Usar "entre comillas" para indicar que algo no es exactamente lo que parece o que se cuestiona la veracidad del término.

Llegar a un momento en el que no me sentía tan feliz 😞
Manera coloquial de decir que alcanzó un punto en su vida en el que su felicidad disminuyó.

Caí también en ese vacío 🌫️😔
Expresión que significa sentirse perdido o desorientado, emocionalmente.

Un apoyo fundamental 🤝❤️
Forma coloquial de decir que alguien fue muy importante para ayudar en una situación difícil.

Mi memoria estaba pésima 🤯📝
Manera informal de decir que su memoria funcionaba muy mal.

Me hicieron muchos exámenes médicos 🏥🔬
Expresión coloquial para indicar que se le realizaron muchas pruebas médicas.

Me sobre exigí 😩🏋️‍♀️
Forma de decir que se pidió demasiado a sí misma, que se forzó más allá de sus límites.
