In this short dialogue we will listen to a couple discussing the time. Pay attention to different phrases they use to tell time!

Transcript: 
NATASHA: What time is it? We’re going to be late!
TONY: It’s a quarter after seven. We’re on time. Don’t panic.
NATASHA: But I thought we had to be at the restaurant by 7:30 for the surprise party. We’ll never make it there with all this evening traffic.
TONY: Sure we will. Rush hour is almost over. Anyway, the party starts at 8:00. But I do need help with directions. Can you call the restaurant and ask them where we park our car?

The Art of not caring relies on the idea that you accept life with all its challenges and difficulties and focus on the things that can be changed and improved.
This art is considered a means to strengthen mental health by reducing social and personal stresses.
It also encourages the understanding that happiness and satisfaction come from within and not from constantly trying to meet other people's expectations.
It contributes to building a strong, independent personality capable of making sound decisions.

الرِيَاضَة بِتْسَاعِدْنَا نِبْقَى بِلَيَاقَة وصَحَّة جَسَدِيِة وَعَقْلِيِة مْنِيحَة.
Sports help us stay fit and in good mental and physical health.
مُمَارَسِة الرِيَاضَة مُمْكِن تْقَلِّل التَوَتُر وكَمَان بِتْزِيد التَرْكِيز بِالمَهَام اليَومِيِة.
Practicing sports can reduce stress and also increase the focus in the daily tasks.
والرِيَاضَة بْتِلْعَب دَور مُهِم بِنَجَاح الإِنْسَان لأَنّهَا بِتْعَلِّم الإِنْسَان عَالإِنْضِبَاط 
And the sport plays a main role in the success of the person because it teaches discipline to the person
والرِيَاضَات الجَمَاعِيِة بِتْعَلِّمْنَا كِيف نِشْتِغِل كَفَرِيق.
Team sports teach us how to work as a team.
بِالإِضَافِة, الرِيَاضَات مُمْكِن تْسَاعِدْنَا نْكَوِّن أَصْحَاب جْدَاد
In addition, sports can help us make new friends.
بِالمُقَابِل, مُشَاهَدِة الرِيَاضَة تُعْتَبَر طَرِيقَة مْنِيحَة للتَوَاصُل مع العَيلِة والأَصْحَاب.
On the other hand, watching sports is considered as a great way to connect with family and friends.

In general, including sport in our daily routine increases the happiness in the life

盤古開天

很久很久以前，天空和地球之間一片混沌。在這混沌中，有一位名叫盤古的巨人。他身穿一件黑色的長袍，手拿著一把巨大的斧頭。盤古的眼神充滿了智慧和力量。

盤古看到混沌的局面，決定要開天闢地。他揮起斧頭，用力砍向混沌。斧頭劈砍下去，發出震耳欲聾的聲音。經過九天九夜的努力，終於，混沌被盤古劈開了。

當混沌分開時，輕而上浮的是一片無邊無際的天空，重而下沈的則是一片廣闊的大地。天空中，盤古留下了一個個閃亮的星星，它們成為了後來的太陽、月亮和星辰。

盤古站在地上，感受到了無盡的力量。他開始成為了世界的中心，把自己的生命和靈魂融入了大地之中。他的眼淚變成了大海，他的汗水變成了江河湖泊。

隨著時間的流逝，盤古的身體逐漸化為了山川和土地。他的頭髮和鬍鬚變成了森林和草原。他的骨骼化作了高山和峽谷。

盤古開天闢地的故事告訴我們，一切都有一個開始。在混沌中，我們可以發現無限的可能性。只要我們有創造力、勇氣和智慧，就能開創出美麗的世界。

This week, you’ll hear from the very first guest on the Express to Impress podcast. Allyson Plumberg, Founder of Rooted Accents: Solutions for Accent Modification, joins me to discuss accent modification. 

Allyson provides speech therapy services and accent modification coaching to students and professionals worldwide. She has a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Arizona State University.

The episode is the first of two with my conversation with Allison. It’s packed full of useful information for English language learners. 

We kick off the conversation with a definition of an accent and have a quick discussion about the General American English accent and micro accents.

Then, we dive into a discussion about common beliefs about accents. Allison debunks common myths that limit people from being able to speak English effectively.
