Il leone cattura un topo, sta quasi per mangiarlo ma il piccolo animale lo implora di non ucciderlo: in cambio della sua vita, gli darà la sua amicizia che sicuramente in futuro gli sarà utile. Il leone è scettico ma decide di lasciare andare il topo. Quest'ultimo, un po' di tempo dopo, gli salverà la vita.
