Delam gerefte                                                                                                                                     دلم گرفته
"Del" in Farsi is "heart" and I would translate "gerefte" to "gloomy" :) so you can use "Delam gerefte" when your heart is gloomy :) meaning you don't feel good, you are not in the mood for anything and kind of depressed (but it's temporary).

دیدین بعضی وقتا ناراحتین، توی خونه هستین، دم غروب هوا داره تاریک میشه چه حسی بهتون دست میده؟ در این مواقع ما میگیم "دلم گرفته". خب من و صفورا در قالب یک مکالمه این اصطلاح رو به شما یاد می دیم. خب سفر سناریو چیه؟ که من توی اتاق نشستم و شکیبا میاد بهم سر بزنه. دقیقا! خب آماده ای؟بزن بریم!

In today’s episode, I’m sharing the 3 biggest culture shocks I experienced when I moved from Serbia to France. Even though I’ve lived here for several years now, I still remember those first moments of confusion... especially when it came to la bise, strict meal times, and how hard it is to survive without a car in some cities!

Welcome! I’m delighted to present to you 111 Tips for Learning a Language. Here is our tip for today. The first tip is to learn in a way which is most comfortable to you. You yourself decide how and what you want to learn. Well, be creative! There is no one right way to learn a language. Everyone is a unique individual and thus they have different interests when it comes to learning. Some students like to dive straight into informal conversation while others prefer to learn in a more systematic way using a textbook. Some students, like myself included, start by learning vocabulary. I take great pleasure in making flash cards for myself when I’m learning a language. When we learn in a manner which we enjoy we would definitely be more disciplined to keep it up. Ideally learning for ourselves should be fun and relaxing while stimulating at the same time with just the right oomph factor to keep us wanting to know more. Tip 1 - Learn in a way which is most comfortable to you.

Spain has said it wants to introduce a tax of up to 100% on property purchases for anyone from outside the European Union (EU) who is not a resident in the country.

That could mean a lot of potential buyers from places like Asia, the UK and the US being priced out of the market.

And that's exactly the idea.

Many Spaniards have said that they can't afford to buy property because of the number of homes being bought by foreign buyers.

Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez recently shared the plan, saying that in 2023, 27,000 apartments and houses around Spain were bought by people from outside the EU.

He said these buyers didn't purchase the homes to live in, but to make money from them.

Spain is a popular vacation destination for people around the world, and many like to buy holiday homes for themselves.

But other buyers put their properties on the short-term rental market, using sites like Airbnb.

This has meant that there are fewer homes for local people to buy. The shortage of properties in popular areas has seen prices increase, with many locals unable to afford higher prices.

Sánchez also said he wants to increase taxes on landlords who rent their properties with companies like Airbnb.

However, the prime minister's plans may not become law; for now they're just ideas.

British people who spoke to the BBC after hearing the news weren't happy with these plans.

Michele Hayes from Manchester, who has been looking at properties in Spain, said: "How many working Spanish people want to live in holiday homes in these tourist areas anyway?"
