家人 means family
Maybe you want to shows that you and your families are missing your friend,
so I believe that you can say
我和我的家人很想你。

写的很好，但是第一句用词不太准确，你可以说：下周你就要过生日啦，我给你写信是想要跟你说，亲爱的，祝你生日快乐！
第二段用词也不太准确，你可以说：我和我的家人都非常的想念你，期待你的回信。
最后只要落款自己的名字和日期就可以了。

過生日 Celebrate birthday
過了生日 has already celebrated the birthday.
You cannot say that you have already celebrated your birthday next week.
