We can surely say that parents and teachers are the most influencial people on a child's academic development. Primary education is really an important thing for a child's future development. If the base is not strong, pillars will automatically weak. And it will makes so much difficulties in the future as career life of the children. So in the primary stage, the children need atmost care and attention from their parents and teachers in the matter of academics. If the child have a strong base, he/she will gradually improve himself /herself and become confident and independent in academics. So in my opinion, the most apt personalities they can positively influence a child is his /her parents and teachers.
