I have a question about the Spanish rr sound, like in "perro". After a lot of trying I managed to make it myself, but a lot of people can't do it. What is your advice for them? Should they pronounce it like an English R, a French R maybe, or a Portuguese one, assuming they can do that? Or something else?
Thanks for your feedback!

I would say you should try this:
-first, put the tip of your tongue pushing the palate in the area behind your teeth (not on your teeth, on the palate)
-second, try pushing the tip of your tongue with air from inside.
- you might loosen the tongue a bit to let the air come out, but don't stop pushing.
- at first it may sound just like random air coming out of a balloon, but you'll find the proper position so that your tongue vibrates. Sounding like a cat's purrr.
-third, when it starts vibrating, try pushing the air pronouncing the 'A' sound. It won't sound like an 'A', but it will sound sort of like a car.
- then you could try what you just achieved, with different syllables, like ra, re, ri, ro and ru. Always vibrating hard.
-finally try putting them in full words like arrrrrrroz, carrrrrrro, perrrro, arrrrrrullar, corrrrrer, etc.
I hope this can help you.

¡Hola!
