Mehrdad’s descriptions are correct but it should be ground, not grounded. If a child is groundED, it usually means they are not allowed to leave home because their parents have punished them.

Minced is small pieces Ground for most things like coffee is smash to small granules. For meat it is to push through a grounder to make tiny straps of meat.

British people say minced meat, Americans say ground. I don’t know if they also say grounded with the same meaning.
