One way to make your English sound more natural is to find other ways to say "it is". It sounds very robotic? As an example you could have said "it is very interesting but quite difficult, so I was tired". Because you've already specified what your talking about you don't need to say "it" again and can use this to make longer more interesting sentences. 英語がんばれ！
