Paper books or e-books? What's your preference?
So, I'm not old (I'm 33 years old), but I prefer paper books because the feel of the pages in my hands gives me a lot of pleasure.
Since my youth, I have liked reading books, and I have always read a lot of titles from various genres. I believe that I have managed to convey this passion to my children, too. My daughter is 7 and my son is almost 4 years old, and they have also developed good reading habits.
I normally wake up in the morning and find the two in the living room reading. Obviously, they read books suitable for their ages. Something beautiful is that, even though my son cannot read yet, he takes the comics and, using his imagination, takes picture after picture and creates his own story.
And my favorite books are.
The book thief - Marcus Zusak
Les Miserables - Victor Hugo.
Your text was wonderful to read and I love the description of your children reading. What a great thing to pass on to them! I hope the suggestions I made didn't change the meaning of your story - I wasn't sure in some cases and made a guess. I really just tried to insert a few mor common phrases that seem to flow more naturally, but sometimes there are many correct ways of saying something, so take it all for what it's worth. However, it is VERY common for folks to describe liking the feel of the book in their hands ... which this is another very common phrase that folks use for books in particular. (I happen to be one of those people, too.)
