What does "new moon" and "waning moon(or full moon)" mean?
(Does it mean the first days of the month and the last days of the month?

New moon - we can only see a very small part of it.
Waning moon - it is getting smaller.
Waxing moon - it is getting bigger.
Full moon - we can see all of it - a complete circle.
