The student said that she knows when you rent in China, there’s always something happening with the deposit (it's difficult to get the deposit back); but she’s wondering if it just happens to foreigners, or also happens to Chinese. I said of course to everybody. So she just refuses to pay the rent for the last month when she was in China. I asked, "did they agree?" She said she just argued with them, “I heard there’s a deposit problem in your country.” Cash is king. When they ask you to pay, you are the customer. Customer is God. When you ask for your money back, they are lords.
