It’s overcast today. Recently we’ve seen many tiny cockroaches out of nowhere at our home. To deal with them, my dad bought a tube of Bayer Premise. It looks like toothpaste, but it kills efficiently. According to what it says, instead of killing the pests instantly, it allows them to stay alive for a short while to carry the poison back to their nests. Then they will infect one another. It wipes out the whole area through such an infecting cycle. I don’t know what to make of it. It feels like we are doing a cruel thing.

I’m never happy about killing things, whatever they are.
