The Tim じぁん!!!
Today was kinda gloomy. Back at home, my dad randomly mentioned Mt. Rushmore and asked me about it. At the time, I totally blanked on Theodore Roosevelt's name. So, I quickly Googled it and found out more. It took folks 14 years to wrap up that massive sculpture, with each face standing sixty feet tall. Pretty cool, huh? And there's even a Heritage Village there. Fun fact - Native Americans lived in the Black Hills way before Mt. Rushmore was a thing. They say knowledge is power, so I guess I'm a bit sharper now.

Nice job on your writing. Yeah, I don't think the Native Americans were/are thrilled about it. It's kind of like . . . Hey, let's deface some of your sacred mountains and turn them into the faces of the people who conquered you. You might check on the nearby Crazy Horse monument for contrast. I was out that way about 20 years ago - - interesting area.
