Yesterday I had a work in the morning and I went out to have a lunch with my friend after that. We had some Mexican food and it was nice. We haven’t seen each other since last year so we talked a lot . We mainly talked about our future plans. My friend wants to be a designer so now she has been doing very hard work for it. I got a so much motivation from her yesterday. It was so good day yesterday. Could anyone correct this sentence more natural please?

You can also say "i have a job/task to do" but work is uncountable noun. Peace!
