Some people claim that public museums and art galleries will be no longer necessary because people can use a computer. What do you think about that? As the Internet and computers are becoming more common than ever, I think nevertheless that museums or art galleries have many things that computers or the Internet cannot replace, because the experience of visiting a museum is unique and most museums nowadays offer a wider variety of information than on the Internet. For example, museums have more exhibits, simply because some do not have the right to be posted online. Although the implementation of computers helps find general information on global culture and different historical periods, it cannot replace the experience of visiting a museum.
