I came across an article online about new rechargeable battery system and would like to share it here.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology[MIT] developed rechargeable device which mixes carbon materials to cements. If we use this device as a house foundation, we can store a day worth of energy which we use at home. This technology also might be able to apply to roads which can charge electric cars in the future. The device are mixed and hardened with general cements, water and carbon black that carbon is main component particle. Cement plays a role as insulators and carbon black does as electrodes. They demonstrated that wetting with liquid electrolyte is able to store electric power and to turn on LED light. The greatest feature on the device is hard to deteriorate. That means it is maintenance free. If this cement is used for basic concrete of common house in the U.S, they estimate that we can store 10kWh.
In general, I think it is hard to install rechargeable battery afterwards since it is expensive. On the other hand, we might not feel that pricey if we ask house makers to use this cement when we try to build our house.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology[MIT] developed a rechargeable device which combines carbon materials with cement. If this device is used as a house's foundation, it can store a day's worth of energy which can be used at home. This technology also could also be applicable to roads, potentially allowing them to charge electric vehicles in the future. The device is made by mixing and hardening typical cement, water, and carbon black, which is primarily composed of carbon particles. The cement is used as an insulator, and carbon black acts as an electrode. MIT demonstrated that when wet with a liquid electrolyte, the device is able to store electric power and turn on an LED light. The device's greatest feature is its resistance to deterioration (or its durability), making it maintenance-free. If this cement is used as the basic concrete of a typical house in the U.S, they estimate that we can store 10kWh of energy.
In general, I think it would be hard to install this rechargeable battery system after a house has been built since it would be expensive. On the other hand, we might not feel it is that costly if we use this cement during construction.
That sounds like a neat invention! In general, for a topic like this, you should focus on the device as the subject of most of your sentences, such as "If this device is used", rather than "If we use this device." Regardless, good job giving a summary of the article!
