A question about “to-infinitive”.
In the example 1, does the to-infinitive clause answer the question of ‘about what?’ while those in the example 2 answer the question of ‘what kind’?
1) This may relate to the meaning of the noun or adjective:
"a request to see someone"
"keen to get on"
2) Or it may form a type of non-finite relative clause:
"the man to save us"
"the method to use"
"nice to listen to".
