Recently, it’s been so hot that I get sweaty just walking to school. I really hate it. Today, I went to eat hamburger steak with my friend for lunch. It was so delicious and made me feel better. Even though the weather is terrible, good food and friends help a lot!

Improved Version: - - - - Lately, it’s been so hot I start sweating just walking to school. I really can’t stand it. Today, I had hamburger steak for lunch with a friend. It was really tasty and cheered me up. Even though the weather’s awful, good food and company make a big difference. - - - - Tip: - - Use “lately” instead of “recently” for ongoing situations. Swap “get sweaty” for “start sweating” to sound more natural. “Can’t stand it” and “cheered me up” are more idiomatic and expressive for native-level tone. - -
