Hello! What‘s the difference between smuggy and smugly?

"Smugly" is a fairly commonly used adverb. I didn't even think "smuggy" was a word, but I found an entry in a Scots dictionary that says it's an adjective used to describe very light rain. In most parts of the English-speaking world, no one would know what you're saying if you used it.
