Is it true? š they are called landlords/landladys?
Or can you give me the alternative?
The person who rents out their apartment to someone else is called a landlord or landlady.

Yes, it's true! People who rent out their apartments are called landlords (male or gender-neutral) or landladies (female).
Alternative terms:
* Property owner
* Apartment owner
* Rental owner
* Housing provider (formal or legal contexts)

When I hear or use "landlord" I don't think of a noble-type of "lord". I just think of the word "owner". Anzhela, your English is great. Š°Š±ŃŠ¾Š»ŃŃŠ½Š¾ молоГеŃ!

The plural of "landlady" would be "landladies". The trend over the last few decades has been to do away with gender specific titles.
