Tuteur communautaireWhile I was out shopping in Shibuya, Tokyo, it started raining unexpectedly! Luckily, I had a raincoat in my bag for emergencies. The rain was so heavy that the trains in Tokyo were going slow for safety reasons.
I'm curious about how people would react if it started raining unexpectedly. Feel free to share your immediate reactions!
What would you do in a surprise rainstorm?
Find shelter and wait for the rain to stop.
Keep walking with an umbrella.
Put on a raincoat and keep going.
Head to the nearest café for a warm drink.

For me it depends where I am and what my plans are. If it's just a quiet day and I have no plans, and I'm walking home, and it rains, I'll continue walking home, whether I have a raincoat or not, even if there is a convenient shelter nearby, the rain won't be a problem, I would rather get home sooner and get changed and continue my day. But, if I'm wearing my best clothes and a have important meetings, I'll find shelter and wait for the rain to stop - if I can't wait, I'll try to buy an umbrella, I'll try to call a taxi, etc. Totally depends on the situation.
