How do you say this another way? I just want a paid-for house. And can I use them interchangeably? I have flat feet I'm flat-footed..

Your first sentence is an unclear and very strange thing to say. It seems that you are talking about the house-buying process. If that’s the case, you can say I don’t want to have a mortgage. I want to buy a house outright. I want to buy a house without taking on any debt. You can use ‘paid-for’ like this: I’m sick of my house but at least it’s paid for. I’ll be glad when my house is finally paid for.
