This is a great topic (and is) worth talking about for all the parents and children. As for parents, we hope our children focus on studying (their studies) at school. Regular clothes are usually very different in style and price. If children wear different clothes at school, they definitely compare their clothes to others. Maybe bullying or teasing will happen anytime due to clothes they are wearing. On the other side, if children wear the same clothes at school, nobody would pay attention to others' clothes. In that case, teachers can be focused on teaching children without dealing with other annoying things. At home, children won't (have to) decide on what (to wear) / should be worn in the morning. It can make getting ready for school easy/easier However, the price of a school uniform is really different in different countries (differs from country to country) . In my country, a school uniform is much cheaper than regular clothes. Everyone can afford it. Maybe someone can't afford it in another country (People can't afford it in some countries) . The disadvantage of a school uniform that I can think off , is that it might make children feel hot in the summer or feel cold in the fall. So, school uniform should have many styles to match the different seasons.
