Last Sunday and Monday, I joined a special event called the Dream Yosakoi Festival. It was held in our city, and many teams came to dance and celebrate together. I was very excited because I love dancing, and this festival is one of the biggest events of the year.
This time, the festival was extra special. For our seniors, it was their last Yosakoi performance. I felt a mix of emotions happiness, sadness, and deep respect. While dancing, I looked at my seniors and saw their smiles. Some of them had tears in their eyes. I danced with all my heart, hoping to make this moment unforgettable for them.
During the performance, I made eye contact with many people my teammates, the audience, and even strangers. Every time our eyes met, I felt a strong connection. It made me feel happy and proud. I realized that dancing is not just about movement. It’s about sharing feelings and creating memories together.
After the festival, we took many photos and talked about our favorite moments. I will never forget this experience. It reminded me how powerful teamwork and tradition can be. I want to keep dancing and make more beautiful memories with everyone.
