I want to know the differences between "due to" and "depend on", Are there any friends can help me?

Due to - It's caused by something, so like "We can't go out today due to the weather being horrible." Depend on - Something that helps you decide, so for example "Can we go out today?" "I don't know, depends on the weather" Hope that cleared it up a bit
