I went to an outlet mall and bought a jacket. It was really cute and nice. It was really bad weather so my umbrella was broken by the wind. I enjoyed myself and had a great time.

I went to an outlet mall and bought a jacket. It was really cute and nice. There was really bad weather so my umbrella was broken by the wind. I enjoyed myself and had a great time.

I have suggested using "there" to avoid any confusion about what "it" is here.
