What does comply oneself in this context mean?
For example, "Point of fact is, they confirmed a list I'd already complied myself."
Thank you

Im not sure if you meant compile or comply, regardless, the verb comply means " to meet specific standards" and basically in this context it means that the person speaking has met the standards or compiled the list themselves, as in they did the task.
Hope it helps!

I don't think 'comply' makes any sense in that sentence. To 'comply (with)'means to conform to (i.e. not violate or deviate from) given rules and requirements. You cannot "comply a list' but perhaps can comply WITH/TO a list of rules, for example.
'to compile'(to amass and organize a collection of data) fits the context perfectly, so what the speaker wanted to say might be:
"The fact of the matter is, they confirmed a list I'd already compiled myself." (complied -> compiled).
The speaker is saying that they confirmed (agreed and accepted as good) the list he or she had put together(created).
