I make it a point to listen to podcasts every single night. What does this mean “make it a point”?

Hello Lonely_Kie, Actually, in Britain we also say "make a point of doing something" make a special effort to do (a specified thing). For example: "she made a point of taking a walk each day". Hope that helps.🤓✌️

'make it a point to' means to make sure something is done and pay special attention to it. In your example given the speaker considers listening to podcasts every night important and tries hard to make sure they do it.
