The first diagram clearly displays the main components of the device. therefore, we can see that the solar panel is made explicitly of two parts which are a transparent top and a box.
The second diagram reveals how the solar panel is used to heat air. Furthermore, as the diagram shows, the cold air gets inside the sealed box from the Inlet side, and after that, it gets exposed to the sun's rays, which can heat the air and let it out from the Outlet.
The third part shows how solar panels can be used for heating water. The cold water gets inside the box from the Inlet to a thin pipe, and the transparent top of the box allows the sun's rays to hits the water. After that, the cold water gets from the other side of the box(the Outlet) warm.
