It's extremely important to celebrate languages because languages are what brings us together. Languages gives us a common identity, and a unique position in the world. According to Rita Mae Brown, language is the road map of a culture. It tells you where a people comes from and where they are going. Thus, celebrating languages is a cultural requirement for us humans, and I am happy to be here on italki to celebrate 🍾 different languages. #LinguaFest2022

The native language in the life of every person plays an important role in life, allowing you to communicate with others, get an education and preserve the culture of your people. Actually, for every nation, the native language is a part of culture. Despite the value of native languages for each culture, today they are rapidly disappearing from the face of the Earth, turning into "dead". This is also why we need holidays such as Language Days.

Celebrating language is similar to celebrating life. It’s what makes the world go round and opens many opportunities and possibilities. I accomplished not needing subtitles and understanding my Korean friends and communicating with strangers comfortably.
