What’s the meaning of “indenture” in the following sentences?

INDENTATION would avoid the confusion. Whenever I see INDENTURE i think of some form of servitude.

Here, “indenture” has the same meaning as “indentation” or “dent”. The latter two words are much more common in this sense (at least in American English). Definitions from Google:
indentation
a deep recess or notch on the edge or surface of something.
dent
a slight hollow in a hard, even surface made by a blow or by the exertion of pressure.
