Everything
COVID hit my country just when I entered college. I had a lot of plans. I wanted to meet new people , get involved in activities and travel, but all those plans were canceled I was very upset at first, but then I had a lot of time with myself so l started to reflect on myself and I realized I have to acquire more skills and improve my English , track my health. I had to lose weight so I started to make little habits to reach my goals and now I see e my progress. The first thing is my English has improved a lot I have lost 10 kg and I will continue to achieve more 🙏🙏💪
You can say: I had a lot of plans, such as meeting new people, getting involved, etc. I changed it so you can say "I wanted to meet..." etc
you don't gain skills, you acquire them.
Use the present perfect (have + past participle) to show something from a time in the past up to now
Since I started studying more, my English has improved (from the time I started studying up to now)
I have lost 10 kg (from the time I started to look at what I was eating and how much I was exercising up to now)
