How to find your purpose? First of all, you need to know if you truly love it. Does it give you joy or is it just for the sake of doing it or because you want validation from others around you? Also, are you good at it? You are interested in football, for instance, but your can't even score a goal when playing with your homies. Second of all, what does the world need? Knowing what the society needs is a good way of helping it to find a solution for what we are currently experiencing. And the last but not the least, what can you be paid for? The kind of service you provide based on your abilities and demand by people can make you money easily. This way you can find your passion, mission, vocation and your profession between the gaps of the main meaning of each question. The questions above are based on 'ikigai, a Japanese word that means 'reason to live'. It's a tool of self-knowledge in order to align purpose, values and expectations and real possibilities of work.
