The weather is fair today. My dad and I are studying reduplicative at home. It began with a question I asked when we were reading some idioms. Is okey-dokey an idiom? At first, my dad replied yes without thinking. Then to confirm it, I searched it on Google. There was a new world waiting for me - reduplication. I hauled my dad to study it together willy-nilly. We jotted some fun ones on a notebook higgledy-piggledy. Then we started babbling hocus-pocus. Now we all have nicknames. My mom is the roly-poly Kitch-Witch. My dad is the hoity-toity Silly Billy. And I am the hotsy-totsy BigWig.
