I live in a big city in our country. In the city, it's so crowed and is busy, and price is high while in the country side, it's a bit more lazy and slow-paced. People are gracious and polite, friendly.
During the holiday, I was in a country side. It was so nice in the beginning. Then I found that it was a challenge to adjust to that pace.
I think I'm more of fast-paced and hard-working.
Could you please make my draft sound more natural?
What is tricky to me about learning English is the way of describing nonliving things.
We rarely use nonliving things as subjects. So it's very hard to come up with an experssion like "The country side is a bit lazy". In any case, I think it's my job to figure out and learn the differences between languages.
Thank you for your time and your help.

Burcu did great with the revisions, but I wanted to add one comment: often times adjectives have a standard feeling associated with them. The word “lazy” almost exclusively has a negative tone. Conversely, the words “relaxed” or “peaceful” have a positive tone.
Unfortunately, the translations are often similar, but the English meaning is quite different.
With practice, you’ll definitely gain confidence with describing inanimate things.
🧡🧡 Keep trying!

In my country, I live in a big city which is very crowded, busy and more expensive compared to rural cities. Here in my city, people are very friendly and polite.
For the holidays, I went to the countryside and everything was so nice in the beginning but then trying to adjust to rural lifestyle started to become a challenge for me. I believe I’m rather hardworking so I must be more used to fast-paced lifestyle.
Honestly, your draft looks very nice Mari Kim but you don’t need to double some words such as polite and gracious and you can use more conjunctions maybe? :) I hope this helps a bit. Never stop challenging yourself!
