In your country, is there more need for land to be left in its natural condition or is there more need for land to be developed for housing and industry? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
I think at this point we need keep more preserve lands, rather than commercially developing them into houses or factories. This is because in my country we have developed so many lands, and because we need more untouched places to enjoy the nature.
First, right now, there are already too many residences and industrial facilities, which we have exploited lands for our use more than we really need. For example, because housing prices are extremely high in this country, developers have built a large number houses in cities to earn as many profits as they can. Meanwhile, cities with dense population and buildings sprawled quickly and turned many rural areas into urban ones. As a result, less and less nature are left for people and animals.
Second, people are not happy living without enough. We are part of nature, so we really need to be surrounded by it. To be specific, we long for parks to go camping, lakes to row a boat, mountains to go hiking, but often we have to settle for artificial recreation parks and commercial facilities in shopping malls to have some fun except we drive many hours to an undeveloped place. If many people have to be separated from nature surroundings, what is the point of economic growth?
In short, I hope that from now on our authorities will reserve more nature lands instead of commercialize them. Rural lands have been shrinking a lot for the sake of economics and urbanization, and they need to be reserved(or preserved?) for our own good.

In your country, is there more need for land to be left in its natural condition
or is there more need for land to be developed for housing and industry? Use
specific reasons and examples to support your answer. I think at this point we
need to preserve more land, rather than commercially developing it into
houses or factories. This is because in my country we have developed so much
land, and because we need more untouched places where we can enjoy nature. First,
right now, there are already too many houses and industrial facilities, for
which we have exploited more land than we really need. For example,
because housing prices are extremely high in this country, developers have built
a large number houses in cities to earn as much profit as they can. Meanwhile, in
cities with dense populations buildings sprawled out quickly and turned many
rural areas into urban ones. As a result, fewer and fewer natural areas have been left for
people and animals. Second, people are not happy if they feel they don’t have enough. We are
part of nature, so we really need to be surrounded by it. (This sentence doesn’t relate to the previous sentence) To be specific, we
long for parks to go camping, lakes for rowing a boat, mountains in which to go hiking, but
often we have to settle for artificial recreation parks and commercial
facilities in shopping malls to have some fun, rather than driving many hours to an
undeveloped place. If many people have to be separated from natural surroundings,
what is the point of economic growth? In short, I hope that from now on our
authorities will preserve more natural lands instead of commercialising them. Rural
lands have been shrinking a lot for the sake of the economy and urbanization, and
they need to be preserved for our own good.
Make sure paragraphs follow your topic sentence.

First, right now, there are already too many residences and industrial facilities, which we have exploited much land for, in fact more than we really need. For example, because housing prices are extremely high in this country, developers have built a large number houses in cities to earn(make) as much profits as they can. Meanwhile, cities with dense population and buildings sprawled quickly and turned many rural areas into urban ones. As a result, less and less nature reserves are left for people and animals.
Second, people are not happy living without enough nature. We are part of nature, so we really need to be surrounded by it. To be specific, we long for parks to go camping, lakes to row a boat, mountains to go hiking, but often we have to settle for artificial recreation parks and commercial facilities in shopping malls to have some fun. Otherwise, we need to drive many hours to an undeveloped place (to a nature reserve). If many people have to be separated from nature surroundings, what is the point of economic growth?
In short, I hope that from now on, our authorities will reserve more nature land instead of commercializing them. Rural lands have been shrinking a lot for the sake of economics and urbanization, and they need to be preserved for our own good.
Note :
- "Land" is an uncountable noun. The plural of land is usually also land.
- "Earn a profit" is not very common. Usually we "earn money" or "earn a salary." For profit, it is more common to say : make a profit or increase profits.
Well done. :)
