Good choice Daniel, even though I prefer Brazil way more :)

If I weren't Tunisian, I would definitely be Turkish :) I just love everything about that country, everything! ^^

Even though there are many countries I rather be living in (England, Japan, Iceland, Sweden, Singapore...) and many issues with my own country Brazil (crime, corruption, education, economy...), I'm ok being born where I am.

The more I talk to people from all around the world, the more I see that everyone criticizes their own nation, being it an amazing developed country such as Norway to a war torn nation as Yemen.

It's the perspectives that one gains while travelling and communicating with the rest of the world that really gives a sense of where would be the ideal place to live. It's not about your birthplace.

Wafa, I don't feel I belong to my country. I never liked it, not even because of the problems that Gerald mentioned, but simply because I never felt fulfilled here and I always missed something that I couldn't describe, tell.. something that were constantly irritating me deep inside. Then I had the opportunity to move out and I lived in the US where I completely fell in love and I found what I was looking for. Now I am back to Brazil and feeling empty, sad and angry. I am already planning my return to the US in the end of the December so that is what keeps me motivated and excited!

I answered " Spain " because from what I read, see and my experience with Spaniards, Spain seems to be the country where I'd be happy. Maybe one day I'll give it a try and see if it fits me better than the U.S.

@Gerald: I think it's in our human nature that we are always dissatisfied with our own situation whether it is a good one or a bad one. We always yearn for the things that we don't have. So it's normal that everyone is criticizing their own country.

But what if you don't feel a sense of belonging while in your own country?
