What is the difference among these sentences?

1)These days, I am eating a lot of vegetables.

2)These days, I eat a lot of vegetables.

Are both sentences grammarically correct?

And what is the different tanslation between 1) and 2)?

Thank you very much for your help.

Both are correct. In general, the present continuous form  ' I am eating . . '  is used for stating an event occurring now, at the time of speaking or writing, while the simple present  ' I eat . . '  is for a general habit, over a longer period of time.

You could say, for example,  ' These days I eat a lot of vegetables but I am not eating any vegetables today'.
