AP Spanish Test - any tips for preparing?
I took the AP Spanish test and did awful. Listening is soo important on that. and so is fluency - being able to listen and respond clearly and confidently. (I wish I'd found italki before taking that test.)

Hi,
The best way to practice your listening is using a resource in proper Spanish like CNN - Spanish channel, try to avoid Spanish programs from Spain or Mexico, since they have an strong slang that only they can understand.
In South America the best spoken Spanish countries are Peru & Colombia, I'm writing you from Lima - Peru. In fact we are probably the best translators for many languages into Spanish.

There's a really nice techique that I used when mastering my english, the thing is to try to think in the language you're mastering, you may start with objects, picturing a tree in your mind and thinking arbol, after it seems you've had enough of that, start making phrases and visualize the situation, that helped me a lot.
