I aim to achieve a C2 level in English and I am dealing with these verbs which are similar but there are certainly shades of meaning, would do you like to help me with this giving me some examples and explanation ? Thank you!!!!

Squash is usually for things which are soft and maybe juicy, like fruit. Crush is normally for dry, solid things. Smash means breaking into many pieces, whereas crack usually refers to (partially) splitting.
