Because there is a high level of delinquency in my country, but as I said you, that depends of the place. Some parts are quieter but other are like the hell.

It really depends on the city and how busy public transit is.
If it is a very popular means of travel, then there will be more people using it and therefore, more money to spend on the system. In small, rural communisites there's very little resources that can be used due to the lack of people investing in the system. The town itself cannot afford to pay for the whole system to run. However, In Toronto or New York, there is a lot more money to be spent on public transit because so many people are paying to use the service

Good evening Yasna. Your topic interested me. Because this month schools and universities opened in Azerbaijan that's why this problem raised again as usual. We've underground ( metro) only in Baku. But the people of other cities only use bus or taxi. This year we also have speed train between Baku and small city near it - Sumgait. By the way public transport is ver cheap in my country comparing with European capitals. That's all for know.

I'm from El Salvador, Central America. The most popular way of transportation is by bus, it's cheap but it isn't safe, it depends of your destiny too because, for example, there is a city pretty dangerous called Soyapango if you go there by bus maybe you will be a victim of an assault.
Another way is by car. There are a bunch of cars currently who make lots of traffic.
