"Ambition" sounds more natural to me than "ambitiousness". A certain amount of ambition is a good thing. Ambition is a form of desire. And with desire, it's easy to actually do the desiring. What's difficult is being happy with the outcome (good or bad). :)

Can be good as well can be bad depends on how much ambition a person has, everything in excess does bad
