Driving nuts Hi, can you guys please tell me if you use the expression 'driving nuts'? I've seen it once in a comment and I'm still thinking about its meaning ..and I think it is basically an another way to say 'getting crazy', isn't it? I'm not so sure anyway so can you please tell me if you use it in your everyday life and in which context  would you  use it?

This is a very common expression and it has a negative connotation, though it's on the lighter/more humorous side of the spectrum. People would say something like "my kids are driving me nuts!" or "that dog's barking is driving me nuts!"

It means, "making crazy." If a person were to say, "You're driving me nuts" it would mean, "You're making me crazy." Hope this helps!!

if someone irritates you or driving you crazy... it will be quite obvious that your expression would be negative...
