Prezi vs. PowerPoint, Moodle Which one do you prefer? Is there another presentation software? What is used at universities in your countries? Do you use Moodle or something similar for group courses?

Thanks for your replies. I am preparing a presentation and was wondering if I should try out something new because PowerPoint is a bit boring. But maybe preparing a Prezi presentation is a bit risky, because I guess it only works online.

Moodle is something different, a virtual classroom. It's widely used in Germany at universities. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moodle)

Beamer

Beamer (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beamer_(LaTeX))  is a slideshow especially for people who use formula...The instructions are like Latex and you should write some instruction on it then run (It could be replaced by Power Point, because of in power point the formula aren't nice)...If you notice, most of good articles are written in Latex...It isn't like Microsoft Office Word and you should type instruments there...So, for creating Beamer you need know about instructions then create it...Also, writing formula isn't easy like word there..

If you haven't much pictures and diagrams and most of them are texts, I don't propose you Prezi...Because the main feature of Prezi is for zooming on pictures and diagrams and having nice background...For connecting in, you need internet at first opposite of Power Point and Beamer....

At the school that I currently work at I will change up which presentational tool I use.  I love using google slides, haikudeck, and prezi presentations.  I rarely use Powerpoint.

At my university, we just use PowerPoint. I also like Google Slides for group projects :) Never heard of Moodle!

PowerPoint is used in Iranian universities, and I can work only with that.
