To rub something in someones face is to repeatedly brag about something which can either be the success of the bragger or the failure or the person who is bragged at.

Eg.

*wins a card game

"I won haha"

"Cool"

"Sure I'll probably win again"

"Ok..."

"You lost, I won."

The person who won was rubbing their victory in the other person's face.

So he was talking about "bragging" or "gloating"  . The phrase " rub it in your face" or " rub it in your nose"  means literally to show someone something they don't want to see. In his example he was posting pictures of all the fun things he was doing and some other guy saw his pictures and thought he was bragging. As a result, Jocko felt his showing pictures made others feel bad. He was "rubbing it in their face" of how nice his life was.  Hope this helps.  Another way you can say it is "rub it in"  that is when an event is unpleasant and you keep reminding them of it or you won't let them forget it.
