Meanings and use of some italian words!

Buonasera :)
I was going through some words when writing, and these came up as a bit of confusion, can someone help me clear my mind?

Giusto = "Right", "quite right" or "just"?

Telefonare = "To call"? Is this used instead of chiamare sometimes?
raffreddore = Is there any diffrence to "freddo"?
bugiardo = Both "liar" and "Lying"?
Pure = "Also"? Google translate says even: "mashed potatoes"..?
Stato = "State" and "status"?

Grazie!!

Ciao,

allora..

GIUSTO adjectif : "Suo padre è un uomo giusto" (honest) OR "La risposta è giusta (correct, exact)

GIUSTO  adverb: " Sono arrivati giusto adesso (just)

TELEFONARE = to call

RAFFREDDORE  e FREDDO= COLD in english, but in italian RAFFREDDORE = desease  -Ex: "Ho preso un brutto raffreddore" = I have a  bad cold

BUGIARDO= Liar

LYING= Mentire, dire bugie.

PURE,  ANCHE = Also

But PURE' (with accent)= Mashed potatoes

STATO=.State, status, pp verb ESSERE (to be, been)

I hope I gave you little help. Bye

Aggiungo solo:

- Giusto (aggettivo)= Questa è la risposta giusta (right).

Giusto (avverbio)= è arrivato giusto adesso (right now). If you say just now the translation in Italian would be "solo adesso".

- Telefonare is calling by phone, but not by voice
